For Third Year Ophthalmology Residents And Fellows

Course Description:

The Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program is a two and one-half day seminar designed exclusively for third year ophthalmology residents and fellows. Held at Alcon's world headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, this program offers a unique educational opportunity for participants.

Participant Eligibility:

This program is open to all third year residents and fellows enrolled in a United States ophthalmology residency or fellowship program. You must be a third year ophthalmology resident or fellow when you attend the program. The Dulaney Foundation reserves the right to request a letter from your program director to confirm your residency or fellowship status.

Educational Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to:

  • Develop strategies to maximize surgical efficiency
  • Recognize, prevent and treat complications in cataract and refractive surgery
  • Review excimer laser and wavefront technologies
  • Prepare for entrance into the private practice of medicine
