Course Description:

The Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program is a two and one-half day seminar designed exclusively for third year ophthalmology residents and fellows. Held at Alcon's world headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, this program offers a unique educational opportunity for participants.
Participant Eligibility:
This program is open to all third year residents and fellows enrolled in a United States ophthalmology residency or fellowship program. You must be a third year ophthalmology resident or fellow when you attend the program. The Dulaney Foundation reserves the right to request a letter from your program director to confirm your residency or fellowship status.

Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to:

Develop strategies to maximize surgical efficiency
Recognize, prevent and treat complications in cataract and refractive surgery
Review excimer laser and wavefront technologies
Prepare for entrance into the private practice of medicine
