Toronto Cataract Course - Retinal Issues in Cataract Surgery
This is a one-day, high-impact and interactive program on controversies, challenges, and cases in phacoemulsification/IOL surgery. Material presented will focus on Cystoid Macular Edema, ARMD and Cataract, Epiretinal Membranes and Cataract, and Diabetes and Cataract Surgery. The course will enable participants to prepare for, understand and effectively manage the challenges and complications of cataract surgery. Participants will gain knowledge of new designs in cataract surgery equipment and intraocular laser techniques which will benefit their outcomes in routine and challenging cases. A ½ day morning concurrent session will also be held that addresses topics of particular interest and concern to technicians, nurses and others working in the field of cataract surgery. Full
