Course Description
This
is an official FDA CERTIFICATION course to allow the physicians to treat
refractive disorders including myopia, astigmatism and hyperopia with Visx
Star platform. This will include basic instruction on conventional PRK,
LASIK and PTK. (This does not include specific microkeratome training).
This course is instructed on a VISX STAR S4 ActiveTrak System and is the
prerequisite course required prior to taking the CUSTOMVUE course. The
course includes didactic, discussion, and hands-on lab sessions.
