► Bilateral facial paralysis (Moebius' Syndrome), Complete absence of facial expressure (mask face) secondary to a non-progressive congenital paralysis of the seventh nerve, with lagophthalmos, absence of lachrymal secretion, crosseye due to paresis of the IVth and VIth cranial nerve. This may affect other nerves, and particularly cranial ones such as the glosopharyngeal nerve (difficulties in swallowing), the hypoglossal nerve (lingual atrophy, unintelligible speech).

► Left pathetic glance due to lesion of the cranial nerve, fourth or trochlear nerve, secondary to affectation by naso-pharynx cavum tumour.

The cover/uncover tests are normal with the head tilted.  But with the head in the primary position, there is a left over right. Ocular motility shows left inferior oblique overaction and poor depression of the left eye in adduction.)
